Located in Pavilion No. 5 of the city's old Artillery Barracks, the Párraga Center is a center for the exhibition and production of Performing Arts and Contemporary Art.
The Párraga Center is defined as a center for the exhibition and production of Performing Arts and Contemporary Art
In it, all those experimentation and research formats in these areas are developed. Finding the links that relate the living arts and contemporary art is one of his priorities.
The building houses the Center for Documentation and Advanced Studies of Contemporary Art, with which this center also offers a complete offer in relation to contemporary creation content.
The Párraga Center works as a Kunsthaus or 'House of Art'
A mixed art exhibition and production center where temporary exhibitions and training activities related to the empowerment of the local fabric are hosted. It is a center open to participation that combines programming from national and international centers of reference.
Its facilities have several spaces: 'Espacio 0' or 'Espacio Escénico' is the exhibition space for the exhibition of content related to dance, performance and contemporary theater. The 'Espacio 2' and 'Espacio 3' areas host well-established projects by medium and long-term artists. And the 'Machine Room' or 'Space 1' is the place for emerging art.
